“The Morning Sessions have been born out of 25 years of personal development, professional experience and my own daily practice. Bringing together mindfulness, meditation and other wellbeing practices to help anchor you in the present moment and get your day off to the best possible start.

This programme is the passion project of me, Samantha, at Pathways to Wellbeing. Drawing on my combined experiences as a qualified Reiki master and teacher, workshop facilitator and coach, Reiki Drum Master practitioner, hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and vocation to help people come back to, or evolve into, thier best selves.

I am currently in my final year training as an Integrative Humanistic counsellor. I am an enthusiastic lifelong learner and have a keen interest in nature based therapeutic working and all things outdoors.”

The Morning Sessions

What is it?

The Morning Sessions are an opportunity for connection with and support from a community with a common goal. It’s a commitment to yourself to show up each day.

  • A set of structured daily practices to help set you up for a successful day. Commencing each day in a focused, intentional way.
  • An opportunity to start or restart a daily meditation practice, explore different types and styles of meditation & mindfulness techniques, to see what works for you.
  • An opportunity to see where you can make some adjustments in your life to improve your over quality of wellbeing.
  • A set of structured daily practices to help set you up for a successful day. Commencing each day in a focused, intentional way.
  • An opportunity to start or restart a daily meditation practice, explore different types and styles of meditation & mindfulness techniques, to see what works for you.
  • An opportunity to see where you can make some adjustments in your life to improve your over quality of wellbeing.
  • Each day and week has its own focus which you will be gently guided through.
  • 4-week rolling programme, people can join each week, all new participants start on a Monday, so whenever you sign up, you will start the following Monday.
  • This is a live Zoom group running Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 7.45 a.m. We may start a 6.15 group for the real early birds and a 9.30 group for those that don’t like an early morning start, have more flexibility in their day or need to do the school run! We will respond to demand for these groups.

Why Do It?

This programme may provide you with some tools that support you in identifying, managing, improving and sustaining your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs and overall wellbeing.

  • Doing this in a group means that you are less isolated, have support and are more likely to show up each day.
  • It develops consistency & accountability, helping you to cultivate sustainable new habits and ways of being in the form of a simple daily practice.
  • This is an opportunity to connect with yourself and your own internal GPS (global positioning system). To figure out where you are in your own world and within the world ‘out there’.
  • You can create, action and achieve some short-term goals. It is simple, you just need to show up.
  • At the end of the programme you will have a blueprint for a morning practice that you can tailor to your own needs and preferences and can potentially use for the rest of your life, should you choose to.
